Hello, and Happy soon-to-be-the-end-of-the-year.
Have you sent in your feedback to tell us what you like, don't like, and want to see in next year's Easy English NEWS? If so, thank you!
And if not, it's not too late to fill out our survey:
Print it, fill it out, and either scan it in and send by email, or fax to us at 757 430 4309, or mail to us at:

Is May the last month of your subscription? Is your program ending soon? Then, so long for a while; have a great summer whatever it is you do in the summer. I hope to be writing for you and your students again next year.
Prices are not changing, but put us on your reminder list to order for next year. If you have a large program and will need 500 or more papers, it helps us if you order by August 15. Otherwise, you can order Easy English NEWS for September as late as the end of September.
The June issue has some good summer-time fun articles, as well as the Fourth of July, Starting Your Own Business, musings about the Summer Olympics, concerns in Brazil, and all the usual good stuff: readers' stories, idioms, crossword puzzle, discussion questions, Funny Stuff, holidays and events. You might consider ordering it as a goodbye gift to your students.
If you have Students with Interrupted Formal Education among your challenges, remember we have the solution to much of the phonics dilemma: ESL Phonics for All Ages…totally different from Phonics books for English speakers. It's designed for older students who may not be able to read in any language and who have limited vocabulary in English. See samples of the five books:
There are CDs to accompany each level, in which each word is read three times for those whose vocabulary is extremely limited. Answer Pages in the Teacher's Guide are reproducible, so students can self-correct and track their progress, freeing up teacher time to encourage and motivate.
Thanks for being with us. It is a pleasure to be your partner in the classroom
